Nothing special is required to maintain your mosaic, really! Mosaic is low maintenance. It’s stain resistant and easy to clean, using almost any cleaning agents.

Any tile grout can be used; it can be sanded or non-sanded grout.

All our mosaics are made from natural marble and stones, naturally resistant to different environments (dry, moist or wet) and weather conditions such as frost, sunlight, extreme heat, etc…and are also chemical resistant should you wish to install them in your swimming pool. Your mosaic will literally last for tens of years.

Mosaics can be installed on walls, floors, indoors, outdoors, swimming pools, table tops, ceiling inlay, mirror borders, kitchen and bathroom backsplashes or any other space to make your vision come to life. Check out our latest Lookbook for inspiration.

We’ve made it very easy for you to install your mosaic. Please head over to our Installation Guide for a complete demonstration. Although installing a mosaic doesn't necessarily require a professional, we would recommend one for larger mosaics.

We currently don’t. But laying mosaic is not as hard as you might think and doing it yourself can save you the expense of having it installed by a tile setter or a handyman. If you’re still not comfortable installing it, we can recommend a qualified tile setter in your area.

We are committed to ensuring you are 100% happy and proud of your mosaic masterpiece. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your mosaic, you may return it within 30 days and receive a free replacement or a full refund for the price of the artwork. You can quickly check the status of a current order with your order number and email address. As soon as your mosaic is shipped out, we'll send you a confirmation email that includes a tracking number.

We use over 40 different kinds of natural marble, granite and other stones that we import from around the world. However, some colors required in some designs do not exist in the natural world and only in this case synthetic stones are used.

Our mosaics are shipped globally for free via DHL, UPS, and FedEx.

Receiving damaged mosaics is a rare occurrence. In case some stones fell off during shipment, additional replacement tiles are included with every shipped mosaic. If however, the damage is irreparable, please send us an immediate photo to claim the cost of damage and replace your mosaic. Please email us at support@mosaicslab.com.

Every effort is made to ensure that you receive your masterpiece in the same condition they leave our workshop. The tiles are glued to a fiber mesh backing, ensuring that each of the hand-cut marble mosaic tiles remains firmly in place during shipping.
Your mosaic is packaged to the best standard possible with thick paper to protect against dust and an additional layer of heavy duty polyester film to ensure maximum protection and safe delivery. The polyester film also makes unwrapping your mosaic quick and easy without any mess. Mosaics up to a size of 20 sq. ft. (1.8 sq. m.) will be delivered in one piece. It will get to your house rolled in like a carpet. In case your mosaic is bigger than 20 sq. ft. (1.8 sq. m.) you will get it on nets which are numbered and easy to put together, just like a puzzle.

You may be required to pay duties and taxes to claim your package, depending on your local customs office. mosaicslab.com has no control over this and has no way of determining the total cost of duties and taxes. We encourage you to contact your local postal service or customs bureau for more specific information.

We only accept secure payment options on our website: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners, Maestro. We also accept PayPal and PayPal Credit. We will be adding more payment options in the future for your convenience.

All information requested from you throughout the buying process such as your name, email, shipping address and credit card number is only used to process and facilitate your order (billing and order fulfillment). Your information will never be used to spam you and we never sell or release your email address or any any other information to any other parties. We have on board some of the best international and local mosaic artists in the world. Our incredibly talented artists have learned the ancient Roman craft of mosaic making from their ancestors. Masters of these techniques, they can translate existing images into stunning mosaics, or design entirely new masterpieces that will transform your space.

We offer three different finishes: Natural, Tumbled, and Polished.

It is possible to customize any mosaic. We can also create mosaics based on actual photographs or paintings of people, landscapes or any other scenery. You are welcome to send all design requests to support@mosaicslab.com

Following the receipt of your request, we will get in touch with you to discuss next steps. Throughout the art creation, we will be working hand in hand with you making sure you’re 100% happy with your new masterpiece before shipping it over to you and that includes sending you progress pictures across multiple production stages, approvals, etc…

All sizes can be modified to fit your exact placement; however some designs cannot be made smaller due to design constraints, but all mosaics can be made in a larger size, or even custom tailored shapes such as circular forms or any form to fit your vision.

The mosaic shown on our website do not represent ready-for-sale goods as all our mosaics are crafted on order. All motifs that have been produced individually by hand can slightly deviate from the sample images in their color and application, within the context of the artistic design. In particular, it is not possible to guarantee an exact color match between the photograph and the material that has actually been used, due to the fluctuations of colors and texture of the natural marble and that will make your mosaic truly one of a kind.

All our mosaics are hand-cut and hand fixed. Each tile is 0.25 inch (6 mm) deep and approximately 0.3 inch (8.5 mm) wide. Each mosaic is designed and produced by a team of 4 to 10 artists and craftsmen.
